STUDIO JOURNAL · OCTOBER 2026
Before a beauty launch, make the website genuinely useful.
A practical launch checklist from BUI Creative Labs, based on our founder-owned beauty projects—not a promise of search ranking or sales.

01 · START WITH PEOPLE
Explain what the customer is choosing.
For ME-LIPS, shoppers need to understand the lip-and-cheek jar, two pink-red shades and brush application. For Color Changing Lip Balms, they need to know the upcoming product is pinker, packaged in a gold tube and intended for lips only. A comparison helps people select the right product rather than confusing two distinct brands.
Use the actual product status. Concept imagery and planned formula ingredients should never be presented as approved finished products or verified performance.
02 · MAKE MEDIA ACCESSIBLE
Design video for a visitor who cannot hear it.
Place a descriptive title or summary near the video, include an image poster, and preserve controls. Muted autoplay and looping can create atmosphere, but playback differs by device; respect reduced-motion settings and make sound optional.
03 · GIVE EVERY LANGUAGE ITS OWN PAGE
English, French and Vietnamese deserve real explanations.
Translate titles, descriptions, image alternatives and navigation—not just the hero slogan. Use reciprocal hreflang references and page-specific canonical URLs. Have native speakers review product instructions and legal or policy text before a public campaign.
04 · KEEP HOSTING AND INDEXING MAINTAINABLE
Publishing is only the beginning.
Maintain stable HTTPS URLs, clear ownership and privacy information, working links, a robots file and an XML sitemap. Test redirects from old pages, especially when moving from an earlier e-commerce platform to static hosting. Submit the sitemap in Google Search Console and inspect actual indexing reports; neither a sitemap nor schema markup guarantees placement.
05 · CONNECT THE NEXT ACTION
Make the visitor's next step clear.
ME-LIPS can direct visitors to its official Amazon Canada storefront while accurately describing stock status. A product that is still being developed should say “Coming Soon,” without a misleading buy button. BUI Creative Labs can offer a project inquiry instead.
Our service role: BUI Creative Labs Inc. provides website, hosting-management, video and marketing support. Cosmetic product claims and launch availability remain decisions of the separate beauty businesses.
