Our story
Curiosity became a company.
BUI Creative Labs was founded in Toronto in 2026 as a space for independent innovation.
We combine product strategy, architecture, original software development and creative expression. Our ambition is twofold: build thoughtful solutions for clients, and create useful original AI software products of our own.
We focus on accessible, practical technology—designed around real needs, with clear communication throughout the process.

Meet Melinda Bui
A builder at heart.
Technology leader, product architect and entrepreneur.
Melinda brings extensive experience across technology products, institutional trading analytics, complex data systems and applied AI. Those disciplines shaped her approach to designing software that makes complex ideas usable.
Outside her professional employment, she independently founded ME-LIPS, a Canadian beauty brand, and BUI Creative Labs. Building her own brands has deepened her appreciation for thoughtful design, customer experience and the realities of launching something from scratch.
Through BUI Creative Labs, Melinda architects and develops original technology for markets separate from her employer's business. No employer endorsement or proprietary technology is represented.
